The Virtue of Fools by Fitchburg Subdivision

Fools. We all know some. We know all too well that they can say some really stupid things when they open their mouths. So, often they believe they just shouldn't say anything, for as Francis Bacon once said, "Silence is the virtue of fools." This album is about fools who didn't know any better.

"I can't believe this thing has hit #1 and has stayed there for a while... I wasn't expecting that. Nor was I expecting to win third place, let alone first! Thanks for all the support!"

JoshTheRadioDude

"You guys won the contest in my book, but 3rd place runner-up ain't bad either"

TMTYTF

"I really freaking love this album"

TMTYTF

"Love the songs, love the cover, love the band's logo..."

poppinfresh

"This is pop profundity at it's finest. I'm a sucker for end of album songs and "I can see the Carrot at the End of the Tunnel" might be the epic of 2010."

accordianboy

"I dig this album a lot! Great cover...fascinating song titles. Fitchburg Subdivision are a force to reckoned with! (though the song titles & cover seem a whole lot more electro-pop-modern-rock to me...but who cares it's great!)"

theHoseman

"I've been considering it... I think I just may! Thanks for all the compliments!"

JoshTheRadioDude

"Seriously bro, that looks like a real album cover. Enter it into the contest, I think it's good enough the get the judges talking"

TMTYTF

"Any album that quotes Francis Bacon and has a song called "I Don't Know All the Certain Words to Word It" is good by me!"

rikki

"Sweet cover!!! I could so see that in a record rack...if those still existed. This a great album, both for it's concept and it's execution. I would go into detail about how much I like it, but why bother the whole thing is perfect."

Eric

"Great album and an awesome cover. I also like your listing of the current and future singles from the album, nice touch because I don't think anyone else on Figment does that. Love tracks 2, 5, 7, 8, and 10. Well done JoshTheRadioDude, well done. PS-check out Gravestompers' White Angel, it was released yesterday and hasn't sold that well yet, surprisingly"
