Band Bio

Sleeping Through The Apocalypse is a heavy metal band hailing from Memphis, Tennessee. The band name is a reference to missing out on something you don't want to be a part of anyway. In this case, it's a life and death situation that gives us two options: fight the enemy and die trying, or keep sleeping until it's all over. Literally speaking, the band name doesn't completely make sense, but it's left up to the listeners to decide for themselves what it means.

Vocals-Johnny "Snowman" Snyder
Guitars-Wes Roland
Bass-Paul Jayman
Drums-Stan Hunter

Death Eternal

Date Released: 7/27/2011   Tracks: 10
Sales: 6   Listens: 8

Sleeping Through The Apocalypse's 6th studio album, Death Eternal, chronicles the band's previous sound with traces of maturity and progression. The title track is about Johnny Snyder's dream about losing mortality in a split second. "To Roam a Conqueror" was written originally as a metal ballad but later turned out to be a heavier, more sped up track about the days of the Roman Gladiators. Also includes "Skin Deep", "Lifeless", and "Covered In Blood & Takin' Names" (which is their continuation of the hit "Bloodsoaked Vengeance"). This album was inspired, partially, by Old Republic's Hell Eternal. Vocals-Johnny "Snowman" Snyder Guitars-Wes Roland Bass-Paul Jayman Drums-Stan Hunter Recorded at Firecharged! Records
