Band Bio

The Angel's Sin is a marriage made in hell. Formed in 2004 when Progressive Metal singer Charles Taylor quit his day job in Chicago and moved to Tampere, Finland to get away from everything. After he got there, he immediately fell into the local metal scene, which was dominated by Black Metal and Death Metal. Charles went to a local show where he would meet guitar virtuoso Niklas Aalto. This first encounter was less than spectacular. Both of them were in the mosh pit and Charles spilled his beer on Niklas, who proceeded to punch him in the face. A major fight ensued and both were dragged out by security. On the street they decided to settle their differences elsewhere and agreed to meet at Niklas' house to following day. However, when Charles got to the house, he saw Niklas shredding on his guitar in a way he had never seen anyone shred before. Amazed Charles walked into the house (the front door was open) and stood awestruck for several minutes before Niklas noticed him. Charles apologized for his actions the night before and asked Niklas to keep playing. When he did, Charles made up some lyrics and sung them on the spot. They were both amazed at how Charles' evil sounding prog metal voice blended so well with Niklas' even more evil melodic death metal guitar playing and decided right there to form a band. They quickly recruited hot shot bassist Paul Kaufmann and drummer John Valencia. They then had to decide on a band name. Realizing everything they wanted to use was copyrighted, until Paul came up with The Angel's Sin. The rest is history. Charles stated that the band's genre is extreme metal, since he feels that all other alternatives are too restrictive. With that, the band is set and ready to destroy humanity.
After the release of their first album, The Angel's Sin picked up two more members! A rhythm guitarist in Damian Kane, and a keyboardist in Benjamin Leos. As time passed and the band evolved, Damian began to become more than the rhythem guitarist, and now trades solo's with Niklas, Arch Enemy style, and Benjamin has expanded his chops, moving to a keytar to create a one of a kind sound.

Omega Wrath

Sales: 7   Listens: 9

You didn't think you could get rid of us that easily, did you? The Angel's Sin's 7th album. With the heavily distorted guitar lines, blast beats, running bass, screaming growls, and shred keytar that you've come to know and love, "Omega Wrath" brings a new experimental improv playing style. According to guitarist Niklas Aalto, "We didn't write any of these songs before stepping into the studio, Hell, we didn't even write down I Am Suicide! It's done purely on the spot, and I'll be damned if the whole record didn't turn out heavier than anything else we've ever done."
