Band Bio
Joseph Hayworth started life just like the rest of us. Born in Washington DC to a normal family, grew up in a normal household, went to a normal school, that was until he turned 16. At that time he was flung into the world of jazz! On his 16th birthday, his father gave him a bass and said "Son, We are all really boring. I'm an accountant, your mother is a teacher. You have a chance to do something exciting with your life, use it wisely." However, Joseph knew nothing about playing a bass. So he put it on his back, and went for a walk to the park. Then, by some divine providence, he saw a homeless man, with an acousic bass, playing the most amazing thing he had ever heard. Joseph walked up to the man, put the $50 he had gotten as a gift in the man's case, and told him "Sir, what is that amazing racket you are playing, and will you please teach me?" The man smiled and replied, "Sure, why not. But Jazz is not something you can learn, it is something you feel." Joseph studied with the homeless man for a year, and got good enough to be admitted to the Berklee College of Music, graduating with top marks. Following in the foot steps of his idol Michael Manring, Joseph joined a local fusion band. Unfortunately, he was to talented and left shortly after. Now on his own, he plans to show that the Bass Guitar can be a leader in it's own right.

Tracks: 11 Joseph's back. The second album from American bassist Joseph Hayworth will not disappoint. Mostly written while watching the best of the best at the Second City Jazz & Blues Festival, this album is even more dark Fusion than the last, pulling on everything from Jazz and Blues, to Hard Rock and Mathcore. Think Miles Davis meets Dillinger Escape Plan and you get the idea. Starting with the smooth "Welcome Mr. Tesla" and ending with the 14 minute crazy opus of "The Adventures of an Inconvenient Wandering Misanthropic Moron", eNtEr is sure to please.
