RiplashDate Released: 4/10/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 16 Listens: 19 This album gives the unsuspecting world a taste of CHMMO's aggressive punk-metal. With a scream-freak-out on "Going Into Overdrive" and an old-school punk three chord progression on "My Car...sucks" all over-laid by shouted vocals, this album's a testosterone-charged force to be reckoned with. |
We're Only Here Because You Didn't Want UsDate Released: 4/10/2009 Tracks: 13 Sales: 15 Listens: 18 Sanguine Symphony's debut album blends the sorrow and angst of emo with the brutality of screamo, ending with a 12-minute opus of blistering drums, scorching solos, melodic picking, and haunting vocals. The rest of the album shares these traits, as it carries on a theme of broken love and screaming. Truly a very unique and excellent screamo album. |
The Death EPDate Released: 4/13/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 11 Listens: 9 DeathBreth, being in a furious energetic rage form their last release, were hungry to release a new EP. So, here it is. The band's signature ultra-heavy metal sound is back in full-force, if not amplified. Do not play while your grandmother is home. |
A Brother in Arms EPDate Released: 4/13/2009 Tracks: 5 Sales: 13 Listens: 11 CHMMO release their first EP. On A Brother in Arms, they go for a darker, more serious tone. It's just an EP, so their goal is to experiment with a new sound. |
ReflectionDate Released: 4/17/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 11 Listens: 18 The debut album from ex-Sanguine Symphony bass player fronted band Dying Unholy. Traces of Sanguine Symphony's screamo sound are here, but Angelica Duon goes more for a straight up hardcore/power metal sound on Reflection. |
Ultra WhipdownDate Released: 4/17/2009 Tracks: 8 Sales: 11 Listens: 10 The uber symphonic debut album of Power Metalers Dragonfarce is the most epic album to ever release. With solos as fast as 900 notes per minute, and lyrics that sing of great battles and apocalyptic evil, Ultra Whipdown is a tour de force to end all Magnum Opuses, and is sure to appear for download for Guitar Hero in minutes. |
Ladies and Gentlemen...Date Released: 4/18/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 9 Listens: 7 The first EP by Sanguine Symphony with bass player Seth Rodney. They keep their fans happy with their trademark red/black color scheme, as well some awesome new tracks. It's more than enough to get psyched up for their next full-length album. The screams are emotional, and the riffs are tight. Enjoy. |
SpecterumDate Released: 4/21/2009 Tracks: 4 Sales: 10 Listens: 8 The first EP from Dying Unholy, probably launched to compete with Sanguine Symphony's growing popularity. Think of it what you will, but it packs some punch. |
PurityDate Released: 5/8/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 12 Listens: 15 The second album from Gothic Metalers Whispers to the Fallen continues their assault of screamed vocals, twin fire-storm guitars, and thunderous drums. The band goes for a more gothic approach this time, featuring violins, organ, and a choir on tracks such as "My Blood for You" and "Glory for the Fallen", and the epic, uber symphonic "She Called My Name." |
Beijing BlingDate Released: 5/11/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 7 Listens: 10 The self-titled debut from Chinese Rapper Beijing Bling features masterful rhymes, strong, original beats and some of the only rap in Chinese out there. (Song titles translated from Cantonese.) |
An Angel ScornedDate Released: 5/13/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 12 Listens: 13 The second full length album by DeathBreth is a massively more ambitious attempt than their debut. The metalers try to give more form to their songs, even breaking out a few acoustic riffs. The last song is simply an instrumental acoustic. Make no mistake, this is still undeniably DeathBreth. Not a single lyric is actually sung during the entire album. (That's not to say some aren't simply spoken or shouted.) It's still only for the hardest of the hardcore, it just has tighter riffage. |
Ding Lei Gor FaiDate Released: 5/14/2009 Tracks: 5 Sales: 6 Listens: 9 The latest EP from Chinese rapper Beijing Bling. The title track is too vulgar to be translated into English, so yeah. |
Born of the AshesDate Released: 5/15/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 13 Listens: 14 CHMMO tried a testosterone-fueled mindlessness on their first album and a mature, serious one on their EP (Albeit with very aggressive music.) Due to equal enjoyment from their fans, they go for a solid mix of both on their second full-length album. There's also a stronger metal influence this time around. If you're a fan of CHMMO, don't miss out on Born of the Ashes |
UntitledDate Released: 5/16/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 20 Listens: 30 This is the most powerful effort from either Sanguine Symphony or Whispers to the Fallen yet. The heavy riffs and pounding drums mixed with heart-wrenching vocals and soaring choruses will leave your jaw on the floor. |
RetaliationDate Released: 5/18/2009 Tracks: 13 Sales: 8 Listens: 7 The Screamo entrepreneurs return on their second full-length album. They still haven't moderated their raw angst one bit, and it shows on tracks like "Retaliation (We'll Make Them Pay) " and "There's Always One." Sanguine Symphony just took the pain on their last album. This time, they're retaliating against it all. A large step forward. They also balance the scream/sing ratio to 60:40. |
There's Nothing leftDate Released: 5/18/2009 Tracks: 5 Sales: 12 Listens: 11 The first EP from the Forgotten Falling. It basically continues their work from their first album. "Alliance" is a tribute to how the pairing of Sanguine Symphony and Whispers to the Fallen garnered both bands more fame in a couple days as they got in months individually. |
Eclipse of EternityDate Released: 5/18/2009 Tracks: 8 Sales: 16 Listens: 18 This is the most epic, dramatic, powerful album ever released, ever. Power Metal will be changed forever. The heavens will shiver as Dragonfarce's insane solos and sheer power tear through the wall that is mediocre music. |
For the FansDate Released: 5/19/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 7 Listens: 4 The second EP from Sanguine Symphony is filled with songs that didn't exactly fit on either of the last two albums or EP. There are live tracks and covers. Enjoy. |
The WarDate Released: 6/16/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 10 This is Whispers to the Fallen's third album. This is also their most ambitious. The songs are dark, aggressive, and creepy, seething with gothic angst and the power of metal. The symphonic riffage will have you worshiping the whispers in no time. Vengeance is the new Through the Fire and the Flames. This is The War. |
ChokeholdDate Released: 6/22/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 11 Listens: 10 Deathbreth's third album continues with raw aggression. What else? Not much. They're bad; they're aggressive; they're DeathBreth. |
BurialDate Released: 8/3/2009 Tracks: 14 Sales: 14 Listens: 20 The second LP from The Forgotten Falling. Yep, they're an official band now. This album sounds almost the same as the last one, which shouldn't be that disappointing for fans of the last album. |
Autumn on FireDate Released: 8/3/2009 Tracks: 14 Sales: 9 Listens: 9 Sanguine Symphony gets together on top of The Forgotten Falling for their third studio album. They still haven't changed, except for the better. They've learned a thing or two about working with Whispers to the Fallen, and their songs are now imbued with mind-shattering power. This is Sanguine Symphony at their best; bludgeoning drums back up the soaring guitars, with the lyrics going back to their emo roots. This an album every fan can't miss. |
This is SayonaraDate Released: 10/16/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 18 Listens: 52 After months in the studio trying to find a sound, The Forgotten Falling finally has it. With the addition of Miyako Rey's sister Yumishi's keyboards, FF has found their new sound in trance metal/hardcore. Fans needn't worry, for the band's sound is still here, just augmented, the only difference being a more metal influence this time around. |
Beauty in DestructionDate Released: 10/19/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 11 Listens: 8 DeathBreth has returned with a fourth album. There is no end to their relentless deathcore assault, as evident by their latest album. They try a few half time bridges, and some organ riffs, but besides that they haven't changed. |
HarakiriDate Released: 10/28/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 13 Listens: 12 The second release of FF with Yumishi Rey and with no Virgil Levli. The band doesn't let up when it comes to powerful riffs and awesome harmony, resulting in hardcore metal that's both fun to dance and headbang to. The tone is dark in a more brutal way rather than the angst of the last release, but the sound hasn't changed. And they know Harakiri is Japanese ritual suicide, but it still sounds cool. |
Walking With SpiritsDate Released: 11/7/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 13 Listens: 18 The first Whispers to the Fallen album lacking Miyako Rey, but Virgil Levli makes up for her absence by soloing twice as long and prerecording all of the rhythm parts. It's taken a long time, but they're finally back with more of the same. |
Christmas/New Years AlbumDate Released: 11/15/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 8 Listens: 11 After a long rehab from his addiction to Dr. Pepper, Beijing Bling is back, and with more rhymes and 'tude then ever before. He also has more class this time... NOT! And he returns just in time for the holidays! |
It's Our ChoiceDate Released: 11/18/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 11 It took many arguments, a long time, and the act of joining forces with Jack Debussiria of Whispers to the Fallen , but Dying Unholy are back with a sophomore album. Here they trade their odd time signatures and song structures in favor of overdriven bass, echoey guitars, and an overall crushing yet melodic sound. Leaked rumors suggest that some songs on here are about medical controversies. |
Neo-Gothic Metropolis: The AlbumDate Released: 11/21/2009 Tracks: 14 Sales: 17 Listens: 43 Returning to an old song for a title, FF are back with their 4th full-length studio record. The sound of This is Sayonara makes a return here, as well as an extended version of their song Neo-Gothic Metropolis featuring Gravestompers to augment the guitar solo section. In short, synths sing, drums pound, riffs soar, and vocals lead it all in a melodic yet heavy-as-hell show of power. |
Waking the Witch (Single)Date Released: 11/30/2009 Tracks: 1 Sales: 12 Listens: 7 This is Deathbreth's new single, Waking the Witch. If you're a Deathbreth fan you already know what it sounds like. |
All That Lies StillDate Released: 12/6/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 11 Listens: 11 Here it is: DeathBreth has produced a highly technical, tighter-than-a-choker album. The songs are as brutal as ever, and DeathBreth has dabbled in piano, a choir, and even accordion. However, they STILL haven't let up on trying to crush the listener under their furious metalcore. Features a heavier, tighter, remaster of their successful single "Waking the Witch" with Miyako Rey of the Forgotten Falling singing the female vocal parts and helping on an insane 2nd solo. She also sings the cover. |
Soundtrack to a DreamDate Released: 12/8/2009 Tracks: 1 Sales: 11 Listens: 16 This is the Forgotten Falling's new single to give fans a taste of some new material. Features Death Face. |
Covering Up The Evidence: The Forgotten FallingDate Released: 12/9/2009 Tracks: 13 Sales: 10 Listens: 14 Without a clue how they were going to top Neo-Gothic Metropolis, The Forgotten Falling decided to take a break from studio writing and "covered" (Haha album-name pun) some of their favorite songs from their favorite artists that were influential to their sound and attitude. |
Steam Punk-rock StarDate Released: 12/17/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 15 After a very long time away from the studio Chainsaw Homicidal MonkeyMan Overdrive are back! They release their third album in the hopes that some people might remember them. And yes, the guitarist will be using that guitar onstage at the upcoming Controversy show! Be there. |
Live On the No Holds Barred TourDate Released: 12/23/2009 Tracks: 20 Sales: 13 Listens: 20 Not only is this the Forgotten falling live on the No Holds Barred tour, but this is also the most complete fan tribute ever! Watch the Gothic, Matrix-inspired video for Neo-Gothic Metropolis! Find out what happened when Yumishi mistranslated Miyako's lyrics! See the short film Malcolm made in college! And get the band's opinions on the tour! All for the price of one CD! |
Manta ReyDate Released: 1/10/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 14 The debut album from Russian/Japanese Forgotten Falling sisters Yumishi and Miyako Rey. Blends arena techno keyboards and beats with metal guitars in a super-charged fusion. Perfect for parties, raves, and people who love to listen to Japanese girls sing. Yumishi- Vocals, Keyboards, Programming Miyako- Guitar, bass |
ShatterDate Released: 1/13/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 17 Listens: 33 The highly anticipated fifth album from Whispers to the Fallen... and they're not pulling any punches. "We were the first band to sign to Fallen Records" said frontman Dmitri Oskolov, "And we're showing the world why!" "With or without Malcolm," added guitarist Virgil Levli. The sound can only be described as a symphony of licks, thunderous drums, and falsetto notes and haunting melodies vs. brutal death shrieks, as all the while the D minor Aeolian and Phrygian modes dominate your ears. |
V: The Eyes of The DragonDate Released: 1/19/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 12 Listens: 9 Your ears aren't clogged. Your brain isn't damaged. DeathBreth actually sings on this album. Chainsaw's secret vocal lessons have paid off, and he's back with a powerful, deep voice... and more signature death growls. The signature DeathBreth thunderous blast beats, lightning guitars, and chunky bass also return. Plus, DeathBreth's series of signature "Pain" singles return! (For all the DeathBreth fans desiring something more akin to the old sound.) |
December Cult (Single)Date Released: 2/3/2010 Tracks: 5 Sales: 9 Listens: 8 The first single of Whispers To The Fallen's successful album "Shatter." Featuring two new tracks off the upcoming album and two tracks live from the "This is Our Time To Rock Tour." |
ApocolyptionDate Released: 2/10/2010 Tracks: 14 Sales: 23 Listens: 42 The long-anticipated fifth studio album from trance metal sensations The Forgotten Falling has the band staying faithful to their heavy, melodic, addicting sound, but not without polishing the album to the point of perfection with some new vocal and techno tricks! Aside from that it's more of the stuff you love, and guitarist Miyako Rey once again proves that she is among the highest echelons of metal guitarists. Track 13 is a sequel to the song "The Nightmare" from their debut album. |
ScarletDate Released: 2/15/2010 Tracks: 13 Sales: 11 Listens: 15 The debut release of Korean hard rock outlet Dollhouse in Black, originally released under Cybercandi® records in 2005 in Asia. U.S. and European 2010 re-release courtesy of Fallen®. The album shows the then fledgling band experimenting and evolving. The songs are varied, dark, sometimes even creepy, and aren't afraid to innovate when needed. |
ConfessionsDate Released: 3/3/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 11 Listens: 21 The sixth album from Whispers to the Fallen. They turn it up with all the right licks, shrieks, and clothing to match... again. Nothing's so different that you'll hate it, but it's undergone a few slight changes. "It's the sixth album," Dmitri says, "By this point, it's evolve or fade away." The changes are noticeable in a more doom-metalesque sound, with a larger emphasis on Dmitri's clean vocals than his equally creepy death growls. ((Track 9 is pronounced CLOHS rather than CLOZE)) |
The Forgotten FallingDate Released: 3/8/2010 Tracks: 5 Sales: 12 Listens: 9 "This is some stuff we wanted to get out of our systems. Our sixth album is currently underway, and it is going to be one of the most awesome records to ever grace the genre. Wait it out a little longer, and it will be upon you. We love you, the fans, eternally, for your support on our twisted journey." "Special thanks to: Dollhouse in Black. Kamsa hamnida! Fallen® The president of Fallen®, X. You crazy bastard ;)." -Taken from the liner notes of this EP. |
Self-titledDate Released: 3/17/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 10 Listens: 14 Referred to as "That Album" by fans. Maybe because it was untitled. Maybe because it's Dollhouse in Black's "Different" album. Instead of the dark, nu-metal sound of "Scarlet" the band's 2007 sophomore album has a more alternative sound, albeit still dark. Many fans claim that the following album took the best of both previous efforts and meshed them. Fallen® is currently localizing the third album, as well as recording the all-new fourth album. |
AlbionDate Released: 3/19/2010 Tracks: 14 Sales: 25 Listens: 58 The sixth Album. Most bands would settle for a "Best of" at this point, but not The Forgotten Falling. Everything they are is amplified full-force; the riffs are bone-crushing, the melodies can make angels cry, the solos are faster than light, and it all culminates in what's possibly the most epic opus the band has ever written: The symphonic, crushing closer "Children of Alma". Also includes the acoustic interlude "Sharon's Rose", the grand instrumental "Borealis", and the uptempo "Unleashed." |
Suicide Bride- SingleDate Released: 4/1/2010 Tracks: 4 Sales: 8 Listens: 13 The successful single from the album "Confessions". Also includes a few demos from the upcoming album. According to Whispers frontman Dmitri Oskolov, the new album is "A lot less emotionally heavy-handed than 'Confessions' was" and "More like our earlier stuff; just pure goth melodic death metal. Overall, it's gonna be just more fun." |
One Last DreamDate Released: 4/3/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 8 Listens: 16 "Yes, Sanguine Symphony is gone. Seth Rodney is with Whispers to the Fallen, Wayne and I are playing in The Forgotten Falling, and Ronnie just became a father. But, in the midst of all this, we found the time to unleash one last dream for the fans. Our fates have been sealed, and Sanguine Symphony is at rest. These are our last tales, and with it, we continue down our own ways. Thank you for supporting us and believing in us." -Hayden Frasco |
Boku no BushidoDate Released: 4/8/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 9 Listens: 10 The debut album from Samurai-Metal band Wakizashi. Title translates to "My code of Honor". Song topics includes epic samurai battles, honor, Ritual Suicide, and Shintou spirits. |
BloodsplittenDate Released: 4/17/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 19 The seventh album from Whispers returns to the sound of some of the early albums. "'Confessions' was really emotional and serious," Guitarist Virgil Levli comments, "This one is just heavy and in your face, not to mention it's faster and there's more shredding." Includes the demos released on the last single, now in the form of finished songs, of course. |
SomberDate Released: 4/17/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 6 Listens: 17 The third album from Dollhouse in Black and the last album to be recorded and marketed under Cybercandi® records back in 2009. Widely regarded as the perfect blend of the harder sound of Scarlet mixed with the cleaner stylings of the untitled album, somber is the work of a band firmly planted behind their identity. |
The Broken HourDate Released: 5/2/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 15 Listens: 17 It's been forever, and DeathBreth has been largely silent. But now they're back, and with a vengeance. Enter "The Broken Hour" the band's 7th studio album. They go darker and heavier (Is that even possible?!?) than they did on "The Eyes of the Dragon", but they retain the melodic harmonies and massive choruses that made it a success. They even take a swing at a slow-tempo all-clean-vocals power ballad: "The Lies That Bind" about singer Chainsaw's recent relationship. |
It's Never SayonaraDate Released: 5/7/2010 Tracks: 18 Sales: 20 Listens: 38 The sequel to what's possibly the album that defined a career: It's finally here. The Forgotten Falling have combined elements of Death, Progressive, and Trance metal to create the most ambitious and epic album yet. It's divided into three parts. Part 1 is most akin to the sound of the original This Is Sayonara, shining in pop-hooks and smooth melodies. Part 2 is darker and heavier, featuring some of the most brutal material yet. Part 3 is when the two are entwined. Prepare. |
HauntedDate Released: 5/27/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 9 Listens: 19 The fourth album from Korean goth rockers Dollhouse in Black is their first album to be recorded on U.S. shores at Fallen® Records. Without a doubt the darkest album yet, the lyrics are aggressive, confusing, and at times sadistic (For Dollhouse in Black). Produced and mixed by Hayden Frasco of the Forgotten Falling at Fallen® Records. |
Take-OutDate Released: 6/20/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 8 Listens: 15 Beijing Bling's back with his third album, Take-Out. The first track is inspired by those moments we've all had when while eating some Chinese food, you have a suspicion that the piece of meat in your hands isn't all that it seems... |
Eden Going UnderDate Released: 6/24/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 9 Listens: 17 Where has Dying Unholy been? Frontwoman Angelica Duon's not telling, but the long inactive band (so people thought) is launching themselves back into the spotlight with their newest thrashing hardcore epic. Eden Going Under capitalizes on Dying Unholy's more melodic sound, but puts the emphasis back on odd time signatures, creating a blend of groove metal rhythms, prog metal melodies, and hardcore brutality. |
Metalhead PartyDate Released: 6/30/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 11 CHMMO was so busy on the South Texas death tour that they forgot to get in the studio. This is them at their finest; rocking with I-don't-give-a-shit-abandon, and returning to their old-school punk thrashing, humorous roots. The cover photo was taken by Hayden Frasco of The Forgotten Falling when he was a kid. |
Shadows of SeppukuDate Released: 7/11/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 7 Listens: 7 The second album from Samurai rockers Wakizashi. This album is a lot darker in tone from the band's debut "Boku no Bushido" and sports more minor key riffs. A highlight is the instrumental "Hikari" which blends traditional Japanese scales and instrumentation with keyboards and distorted guitars. |
AphelionDate Released: 7/13/2010 Tracks: 15 Sales: 12 Listens: 29 By the 8th album, most bands know what they're doing. The Forgotten Falling's 8th album, Aphelion, defines progressive trance metal. Layered with synths, guitars, screams, harmonies, and drums both acoustic and electronic, and bristling with epic melodies, ambient breakdowns, and solos that would make any self-respecting guitarist cry, Aphelion will take you to the outer fringes of metal. And, as the 17-minute title track suggests, as far away from the physical Earth as you can possibly go. |
Sanguine SymphonyDate Released: 7/31/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 8 Listens: 10 Sanguine Symphony has been revived! Produced by Ex-frontman Hayden Frasco, the all new SS crew picks up the torch. They throw some more modern screamo trends in, like humorous titles that have nothing in common with the song (Track 5 is actually about being rejected) and 5-star production quality. The guitars are razor-sharp, the drums will crush your face, and Brianna Knight has a voice that kills. Produced by H. Frasco Mixed by X Piano on track 4 by Yumishi Rey. |
All Life SleepsDate Released: 8/13/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 10 Listens: 13 Do not be fooled by the oddly tranquil cover, for before any storm is the calm. And this is the calm before the storm that is All Life Sleeps. Lyrical subject matter is more varied than usual. "Impale the Sky" is about how building massive skyscrapers and massive industrialization will destroy the world, while "Demon Semen" is quite self-explanatory. |
Whispers to the FallenDate Released: 8/17/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 12 Listens: 25 The eighth album from Whispers to the Fallen is exactly what it sounds like. Afterall, it bears the band´s haunting name alone. The songs will creep inside your head and make you want to scream. Whether from enjoyment or dementia, that is your decision. This album has a melodic Black Metal vibe to it, due to the ominous organ riffs and Dmitri Oskolov's signature throat-destroying shrieks. |
The Archives: Greatest HitsDate Released: 9/7/2010 Tracks: 20 Sales: 14 Listens: 26 The Greatest Hits collection, but that's not all. On the second disc, the DVD (Also available on Blu-Ray) every band member gets an hour to his or herself to do whatever they want. Every part is different. They range from Yumishi's ventriloquism to Wayne's lyp-synching fantasies. Like every band member's own visual Facebook page. |

FalloutDate Released: 9/20/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 8 Listens: 10 The first album under TMTYTF records has the reincarnated Sanguine Symphony turning up the fun factor, so it may seem. There are more jokey song titles, but the brutal songs speak for themselves. Brianna's singing and screaming have also improved since the last album, and there are more solos, as Alex and Chris play fast enough to challenge the most seasoned metal veterans. |
I Am ZOMBIEDate Released: 10/3/2010 Tracks: 17 Sales: 10 Listens: 24 A soldier protagonist, "Zombie", goes off to war. He is a hero. He faces impossible odds, and kills countless enemy troops. In body he is a hero, but in mind he has become a zombie; doomed to fight forever in the battlefield of his shattered mind. From the masters of macabre, Dollhouse in Black. |

Rainbow in the Dark (Dio Cover) [Single]Date Released: 10/18/2010 Tracks: 4 Sales: 8 Listens: 10 During The Aphelion Tour, Werewolf Concerto recorded their third record on their tour bus. Once it was complete, they invited tour mates The Forgotten Falling on their bus to hear the new record and to offer them a proposition: to cover a Dio classic. FF agreed, and the two bands got to work. With Wolfman and Frasco's vocals tearing through it, Yumishi Rey tackling the keyboards, and an epic 2-minute shredding battle between Miyako Rey and Jacob Wolfman, this is a cover to remember. |
EPDate Released: 10/31/2010 Tracks: 5 Sales: 14 Listens: 28 This ultra-rare EP was released only in Japan around the release of Albion. In contrast to Albion's melodeath emphasis, this EP focused more on the trance elements of the band. Interestingly enough, the EP was released by Cybercandi records, not Fallen. Therefore, not even X knew about it. He recently discovered it. After his initial rage, he purchased the rights to distribute the lost EP outside of Japan. Limited copies. Act now. Rumor has it that a second EP also exists. |
Sakura SlashDate Released: 11/6/2010 Tracks: 9 Sales: 5 Listens: 6 The third album from Samurai metalers Wakizashi. Katana's vocals soar over the album's heavier sound, which includes more minor-key work and heavier production. Catch Wakizashi on the Global Annihilation Tour now! Recorded before the Global Annihilation Tour and released during it. |
Horrific DemiseDate Released: 11/7/2010 Tracks: 14 Sales: 10 Listens: 17 DeathBreth's 10th album is the most brutal yet lyrics-wise. Melody is reserved for serious tracks such as the soaring "A Farewell to False Gods." Tracks like "Bludgeoned" follow the classic DeathBreth formula of grunted vocals, raw, syncopated riffs, and blast-beat assaults. A highlight is the multi-part epic "Surgeon with Homicidal Intent." Balancing technicality and brutality masterfully, the song was influenced by the horror movies the band watched with Werewolf Concerto on tour. |
Dark MaskDate Released: 11/10/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 10 Listens: 23 The debut album from Japanese Industrial Black metal band Disfigura. Save one acoustic break in "Countess of Sick Pleasure" (A tribute to the virgin-killing Elizabeth Bathory), The album is a relentless assault of shrieks, screeching guitars, and creepy keys until the end, where the instrumental "Dystopia" concludes the album with melancholy acoustic chords and picking awash in reverb and echo. The album was recorded in a mausoleum, for the authentic effect and sound. |
Live in TokyoDate Released: 11/25/2010 Tracks: 17 Sales: 14 Listens: 24 The DVD and recording of The Forgotten Falling's legendary last gig on the Aphelion Tour. It was a performance to remember. The band put on a fantastic show, much to the delight of their massive Japanese fan base. In addition to featuring the first and only live cover of the Caramelldansen Speedycake Remix, this is the only non-bootlegged footage of Miyako shredding the night away in a very revealing seifuku sailor-style school uniform (Part of what made the night legendary). |
AnastasiaDate Released: 11/28/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 13 Listens: 22 After Angelica's tour of duty on the Aphelion tour, the new Dying Unholy album has released. Her boyfriend, Jacob Wolfman of Werewolf Concerto, has assisted with many tracks as well. Overall, "Anastasia" has a very thrash-inspired sound mixing with the usual hardcore. The odd time signature blasts are still here in tracks like "Slayed to Death" while clean guitar-driven melodies show their faces on tracks like "Your Silence Haunts (Me)" and the ethereal closer "Still Life." |
InferisDate Released: 12/27/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 18 Listens: 35 After a long time away from the studio, FF's comeback album doesn't pull any punches. Massive melodies are still a top priority, but the tone of "Inferis" is darker and thirsty for blood. Miyako's unique Russian/Japanese accented female vocals are also very prominent throughout the album. As Hayden sings and snarls the politically-charged lyrics of "Cogs to a Greater Machine", the listener is dared not to headbang. Includes the previously released single "Liberator." |
Into Abyss I: Spirit SwordDate Released: 1/2/2011 Tracks: 14 Sales: 7 Listens: 10 A ronin, Raizou, is to be wed to Kagura, His love. But Raizou is sent off to war before his wedding can commence. He vows it to be the last battle of his life. Returning, Raizou learns that sickness has taken Kagura. In a daring move, he commits suicide so he can be sent to Hell. There, he will reclaim Kagura's spirit and bring them both back from death. But he must first claim his father's katana from Hell's freezing battlefields, for Raizou's last struggle is but beginning... |
Of Shadows BornDate Released: 1/7/2011 Tracks: 11 Sales: 6 Listens: 11 Disfigura's second album takes a more symphonic approach to their songs of dismemberment and sacrifice. Brutal lyrics are rasped in engrish to chilling effectiveness and riffs are tremolo-picked at insane speeds. A new addition is the use of tradtional, normally calming kokyu played in aggressive keys to create a creepy atmosphere, courtesy of Shizuka. Lastly, Living Monstrosity frontman Dean "Corpse-Raper" Taylor contrasts Yoshiro's shrieks with his brutal growls on the 5th track. |
2.0Date Released: 1/11/2011 Tracks: 5 Sales: 12 Listens: 20 The second of two rare EPs previously exclusive to Japan. "2.0" was released around the time of Aphelion. Its more recent release is the cause for the increased obscurity surrounding its existence, as well as the avant-garde style. Songs are highly techno influenced, even more so than on the original EP, with processed vocals and guitars. Track 5 was actually a B-Side from Aphelion, so it sounds more akin to what you would expect from FF, with mind-blowing instrumental work. |
INFINITYCODEDate Released: 1/19/2011 Tracks: 9 Sales: 8 Listens: 15 Manta Rey takes a more experimental approach on their second album. While the songs on the first album were fun dance grooves, the songs here are more akin to pulsing trance, with distorted guitars. Songs are longer (7 minutes average) and more ambient. Also sure to be wicked hits at your next rave. |
The Funeral ChroniclesDate Released: 1/24/2011 Tracks: 12 Sales: 7 Listens: 9 The Funeral Chronicles takes more influence from the old Sanguine Symphony's more emo-punkish/older post-hardcore sound. Songs are darker, and have more of a focus on dual-guitar melodies and Brianna's beautiful clean vocals than breakdowns. They're also some of the most nonsensical song titles every conceived by the band. Newcomer Ben also adds some melodic keys to the mix. Lastly, it was produced by old SS guitarist Ronnie F. Howard. Also includes live recordings. |
NEUROSTASISDate Released: 2/3/2011 Tracks: 11 Sales: 19 Listens: 53 On their debut LP, Sinthetic rips with unnatural experience. This is headphone music, as Lilith and N.E.O.S. weave head-trips with poly-rhythmic "djent" guitars, glitchy robotic vocals, and spacy, cyberpunk synths. From the spaced-out trip of Supernatural Weave to Lilith bringing her deadly guitar skills to the forefront on Venom Lace, and all the way to the shock-and-awe riffage of I Am War-Machine, NEUROSTASIS pushes the boundaries of not only progressive metal, but music as a whole. |
I Am War-Machine [Single]Date Released: 2/13/2011 Tracks: 3 Sales: 13 Listens: 20 The final track on Sinthetic's successful debut, "I Am War-Machine" is as brutal and unrelenting as its namesake. Poly-rhythmic drums blast like artillery, the guitars scream and chug relentlessly, and the keys provide tense dissonant chords and a cinematic backing score. The climax is when N.E.O.S. declares "I am War-Machine!" through a robotic filter before a 5/2 doom chug closes out the song. The unnerving atmospheric remix is courtesy of Kemia, while the Bushido remix adds Asian flavor. |
Into Abyss II: Final StandDate Released: 3/11/2011 Tracks: 13 Sales: 9 Listens: 10 The second of two concept albums; The "Into Abyss" saga. After defeating his father's damned soul, claiming his spirit Katana, and surviving 100 years' worth of warfare in Hell's eternal battlefields, Raizou has finally been reunited with Kagura. Now he must find a way to get both their souls back to the land of the living. But the gateway is through a gauntlet of demons and cursed warriors hellbent on stopping them. All Raizou has is his father's sword... and one hell of a vendetta. |
Histerya [Original demo]Date Released: 4/5/2011 Tracks: 4 Sales: 11 Listens: 15 The original Slutwitch Demo tape, Histerya. Includes the original, low-quality version, as well as a slightly cleaner remaster. "Necroprostitute" achieved a minor cult status among the metalheads in Russia, but the original demo only sold 17 copies. A copy of the original, physical demo can go for $50 dollars or above online. |
Empire of ThornsDate Released: 4/14/2011 Tracks: 12 Sales: 10 Listens: 20 Disfigura returns from the American Massacre tour thirsty for global blood. After the ambient opener, "Shade", Empire of Thorns is an expertly calculated symphonic black metal assault. Thunderous percussion and tense symphonics back up killer riffs and ripping vocals. Empire of Thorns has sharper production values than Disfigura's previous albums, allowing the band's full fury to crush the listener under the pummeling bass. It sounds great in the car. |
White WidowDate Released: 4/30/2011 Tracks: 10 Sales: 9 Listens: 20 White Widow is a bit of a rebirth for WTTF. First off, there's Tanya, who's haunting voice and rock-solid rhythm riffing back up Dmitri's screams and Virgil's shredding perfectly. With Jack Debussiria once again fully committing to the band, the percussion is heavier than an anvil straight out of hell. All this is great in and of itself, but once applied to punishing tracks like "Teutonic Supremacy" and the title track, you'd better run for cover. |
Prayer for Oxygen [Single]Date Released: 5/9/2011 Tracks: 3 Sales: 16 Listens: 33 The first single off the upcoming FF album, Prayer for Oxygen hits fast and hard. Synths are played on ambient pads, adding an atmosphere like never before to the entire album. "We referenced our work on 'Albion' and the Sayonara albums for the new one" says Hayden Frasco, "We're trying to take what we did right and push it further." If the single is any indication, the new album is a force to behold. Hayden's vocals soar, Wayne's bass drums pummel, and Miyako's leads tear the skies above. |
Bloodletter - EPDate Released: 5/11/2011 Tracks: 5 Sales: 8 Listens: 11 The original Slutwitch EP, remastered and reissued. "Skinned by Nails" and "Necroprostitute" were rerecorded from the original demo; the change is a noticeably tighter rhythm section. Though "Bloodletter" featured sharper guitars and slightly heavier bass than the demo, the quality is still muddy and distorted. |
SirenDate Released: 5/30/2011 Tracks: 11 Sales: 11 Listens: 24 "Everything beautiful eventually dies One day this dream will wither, and embrace its end falling like dead leaves from branches high above into a lake of tears but for now this dream still lives, its heart still beats and as long as your heart beats with it, this dream may fall, but it will never be forgotten..." -Untitled |
FortressDate Released: 6/4/2011 Tracks: 9 Sales: 11 Listens: 20 DeathBreth has strayed far from their roots. In preparation for the summer, they drop the clean vocals and release their most brutal album ever. Fortress is technical, brutal, and completely relentless as song after song assaults you without mercy. Chainsaw's brutal vocals tear through the entire album as Jacknife and Harbinger rip meat-grinder riffs while Dümlaut charges forward like an engine of war. |
Murderous DesiresDate Released: 7/19/2011 Tracks: 16 Sales: 5 Listens: 12 The only LP Slutwitch ever released, recorded in the same style as the Bloodletter EP. Staying true to the original disc, the Fallen records rerelease also includes the original demo tracks from the Histerya demo. Also includes the entire disc digitally remastered for better production as well as a standard reissue of the original version. *Track 8 features audio from the film Night of the Living Dead (1968) Vocal- Vladimir Sokolovich (Dmitri Oskolov) Bass, Drums- Chainsaw Guitars- Jacknife Produced by Slutwitch Mixed and Mastered by Slutwitch Remastered by X |

DragonfarceDate Released: 8/23/2011 Tracks: 9 Sales: 6 Listens: 7 You thought Dragonfarce was dead... but they've been reborn with more unstoppable power than ever before! Behold, the new album. The power contained within these symphonies make Dargonfarce's previous work look like the work of a local garage band by comparison. Angels will weep, and gods will surrender their crowns to the immortal might contained within every chord. Yngwie Malmsteen himself will kneel before the inhuman chops of Sherman Lee and Samuel Mann. All drummers will surrender their sticks to the indestructible blast beats of Yuri Reed. Operatic vocalists everywhere will commit suicide in honor of Harold Kip's superhuman range. The heavens shivered before... now they will quake.. |

Wrath of Emptiness (WOE)Date Released: 9/8/2011 Tracks: 17 Sales: 11 Listens: 16 "And when all angels fade, Sky opens, and dark swallows the sun, And kneeling servants of dying God? Condemned to bow to new age of slaughter, to wrath of emptiness..." Bathory speaks as the harbinger of the apocalypse over the doom chug of heavy guitars, haunting demonic choruses and strings, and thunderous percussion that serves as the intro to "Wrath of Emptiness", Disfigura's fourth album. A truly epic undertaking, the standard edition of "Wrath of Emptiness" is a 4-disc digipack. The first two discs contain the songs. Apart from two sorrowful Kokyu-interludes, the entire album is technical, brutal, and maddeningly unrelenting. Mixed by Jacob Wolfman of Werewolf Concerto fame, the guitars sound like barbed wire slicing flesh. Nemesis' vocals are more brutal than ever before, delivered in either a piercing black metal shriek or a guttural death metal growl. The third disc contains Disfigura's traumatizing music videos and live footage, never before-seen. The fourth disc contains video samples of horrific mind twisting terror set to ambient music composed by Bathory. The footage contained within tells a horrific, original story that only the bravest will be able to comprehend... Deluxe Addition Contains 4 Vinyl discs of the album, a rare laser disc version of the fourth disc, and an exclusive poster of the band signed by the members. MurderDate Released: 9/30/2011 Tracks: 10 Sales: 13 Listens: 28 The sixth album of Korean Visual Kei rockers Dollhouse In Black takes more influence from "Somber" and "Haunted" than the technical death metal approach of "I Am Zombie". The Reasons for the delay were many, but amongst the worst was a tragedy the band saw coming. Japanese albino drummer Ikiyo Hiroshito had gone blind. "I woke up one day... I had been having eye troubles the week before... and then... I opened my eyes, I could feel my eyelids open, but all I saw was blackness... I couldn't even look at my girlfriend whom I thought was laying next to me... Once I found her, she asked me what was wrong and I tried to find the words. When she said 'I'm right here', I broke..." -Ikiyo Foreseeing this event, as most albino humans exhibit vision-problems, Ikiyo spent countless hours committing his drumset to memory. But once the reality of the situation hit him, he was on the verge of suicide. Only constant support from his bandmates, his girlfriend, and the fans convinced him to live, and continue drumming for Dollhouse In Black. "This album is for the fans, and for Ikiyo. Kamsa Hamnida." -Dollhouse In Black |

Antares RisingDate Released: 10/4/2011 Tracks: 11 Sales: 15 Listens: 26 Apparently, Sinthetic doesn't believe their debut set a good enough impression on the metal world. Lilith attacks music like a dominatrix, using jazzy 7th chords and mach-speed shredding (see the 32nd-note tapping riff driving "Binarygenesis") over her polyrhythmic drumming. N.E.O.S. weaves textured layers of synths over the heavy metal assault to create a spacy atmosphere that melds with the human subconscious. Sinthetic uses a more varied array of patches on "Antares Rising" than before. Lilith utilizes clean channels to create new age/spacy sounding finger picking patterns to further texture the already hypnotic soundscape, whilst N.E.O.S. mixes the album sharp and clear for heavy bass and killer djent-tone. From the crushing chug of "Forge of Annihilation", through the harrowing "Waking to a Silent Scream", and concluding with the 11-minute, ground-breaking "Terminus", "Antares Rising" is a unique progressive metal masterwork. _________________________________________________ Recorded and produced by Sinthetic Mixed and mastered by N.E.O.S. Die of Agony- EPDate Released: 10/10/2011 Tracks: 5 Sales: 7 Listens: 9 Thyrion's first release is a rerecording of their original demo of the same name. Contrasting with the self-produced, muddy production quality of the original demo, the rerecorded version sports sharp production and mixing, allowing the ridiculously heavy chugging of triple 8-string guitars, double 6-string basses, and furious syncopated double-bass rhythms to push your car speakers to their absolute limits. Riffs that were previously inaudible are now brought to the forefront, and Zhao's brutal vocals bring their full fury to bear. ___________________________________ Originally recorded by Thyrion Rerecorded and rereleased by Fallen records Kong Zhao- Vocals Chow Li- Guitars Sun Ming- Guitars Jiang Shen- Guitars Luyung Yuan- Bass Nian Shing- Bass Song Chung- Drums |

AamonDate Released: 11/2/2011 Tracks: 11 Sales: 10 Listens: 11 Aamon is Thyrion's first professionally produced full-length. It's also the heaviest LP to release on Fallen Records in years. There are no words proper, in English or any dialect of Chinese, to describe the sensation of triple 8-string guitars, double bass guitars, war-machine drums, and deep guttural growls and pig-squeals raping your ears. The video for the single "Peroxide Injection" was shot in a warehouse in Tianjin. It alternates between shots of the band members headbanging in sync to telling the story of an imaginary Chinese serial killer who kills his victims via lethal injection (Contains graphic content). ___________________________________ All tracks written by Thyrion Tracks 2, 4, and 5 from the "Die of Agony- EP" Recorded in Tianjin by Thyrion Mixed and mastered by X Kong Zhao- Vocals Chow Li- Guitars Sun Ming- Guitars Jiang Shen- Guitars Luyung Yuan- Bass Nian Shing- Bass Song Chung- Drums |

SilhouettesDate Released: 11/26/2011 Tracks: 14 Sales: 13 Listens: 28 FF returns with Silhouettes, the latest epic in their quest to revolutionize sound. Silhouettes finds FF further blurring the lines between the brutal and the melodic; trance and metal; and examining the lyrical theme of looking at a human being in their simplest form, their silhouette. No clothing, fake personalities, or facial expressions to distract from their true essence. And when humans face challenges such as greed, desire, social standing, and honor, the album brings to bear how black we really are inside. The keyboards in "Silhouettes" are more symphonically focused and are less trance-based, though programmed beats and synth-wave pads still appear frequently. Djenty 7-string guitars and 5-string basses are played tuned in drop B, and Hayden puts slightly more emphasis on powerful clean vocals than before, which still contrast with his harsh screams. The album is based around two lovers, Jack and Rebecca. Deeply in love, their relationship will face trials of greed, temptation, jealousy, and honor that no humans should ever have to endure. But their battle, their stand, will be legendary. Their love will endure eternity, even if they have to gaze into the very face of human evil... and the darkness inside themselves as well. _____________________________________________________ Produced, recorded and mixed by The Forgotten Falling Vocals, guitars, programming- Hayden Frasco Guitars, backup vocals- Miyako Rey Bass, backup vocals- Malcolm Smith Drums- Wayne Smith II Keys, backup vocals- Yumishi Rey Additional programming and production by X and N.E.O.S. Of RebirthDate Released: 1/24/2012 Tracks: 12 Sales: 10 Listens: 15 The debut album of Aelexiana; the side-project of Forgotten Falling mastermind Hayden Frasco joined forces with Sinthetic instrumentation mistress Lilith. "Of Rebirth" is a rebirth in the truest sense of the word; Frasco and Lilith have processed and developed a unique sound containing elements of prog-metal, rock, alternative, indie, trance, and industrial. Lilith's polyrhythmic drumming and djenty chug-riffs meld with Hayden's soaring clean vocals and programmed ambient keys. Featuring hyper-speed guitar tapping, multi-layered vocal harmonies, atmospheric keys, innovative drum work, and crisp production, no two songs are the same. "T.O.Y.O.T.A." (a tribute to Hayden's faithful 1993 Camry SE) Resembles catchy, passionate hard-rock, while "Katana and Shield" melds Sinthetic and The Forgotten Falling at the seams: Blazing solos and fretwork meet powerful synths and commanding vocals. The dual instrumentals "VI" and "XII" serve appropriately as interludes and conclusions, respectively. These atmospheric tracks feature guest programming from Sinthetic's own N.E.O.S. Binary EmpireDate Released: 3/21/2012 Tracks: 11 Sales: 16 Listens: 27 Domain of the Binary Empire fades in with synth pads and glitchy effects. Volume steadily increases, until... ACTIVATE Lilith's seven-string, polyrhythmic, djent-chugging locks down with similarly syncopated drums loaded with presence and bass. After N.E.O.S.' keyboard blips join in, and after the duo has assaulted the listener for 33 seconds, N.E.O.S. robotically and coldly declares: WE ARE IN CONTROL Welcome to Binary Empire, Sinthetic's third album. Here the cyber-metal duo attempts to vary their sonic palette, utilizing more clean guitars and melody than before, in addition to the sonic djent assault listeners are familiar with. "Binary Empire is intended to musically represent the two sides of technology: The side that helps us, and the side that is destroys us. We are using these smooth synths and clean guitars to represent the cold beauty of the artificial" says Lilith. While the sound is varied, the atmosphere is constant. Frontline Supremacy is a frightening exercise in chugging and shock-and-awe riffing, Cybersensual has a cold, refreshing beauty and smooth guitar work, and Elysium Walk closes the album with a finale of soaring leads over epic synths, calling to mind golden fields of a somewhat somber utopia. We want to pay tribute to the epic story of Mass Effect." "Meeting The Enemy..." is a recounting of total destruction as an entire fleet fights hopelessly against the Reapers, while "Counted Amongst The Dead" is from the point of a lone survivor as he lies wounded on the surface of a world in flames. Beyond The End Of The WorldDate Released: 4/13/2012 Tracks: 13 Sales: 15 Listens: 25 After pursuing other interests for a time, FF entered their studios creatively rejuvenated to create the album they were destined to make. The Forgotten Falling presents: Beyond The End Of The World. Blending the bands' cyber-goth aesthetics with the abstract mystery of what lies beyond, Beyond the End of the World is a new frontier. The songs have been built differently than the rest of FF's entire discography, drawing influence from trance, death metal, thrash metal, progressive metal, and orchestral music. A full orchestra and choir were used in addition to the pre-existing band lineup. Hayden Frasco practically plays the studio as an instrument itself, layering the album so deep that to try and pick a song apart track by track would cause mental overload. The guitars are deep, loud, and cutting, with Miyako's blazing solos taking center-stage. Wayne's drums have never sounded more aggressive, with punchy, loud bass and a mean snare drum. Malcolm's bass is felt as it grooves the riffs along through the entire journey. Yumishi's keys are layered and blended with the orchestra countless times, creating an atmosphere more surrounding, oppressive, and captivating than the deepest abyss. Hayden has polished his vocals to perfection, delivering an aggressive snarl somewhere between a growl and a shriek, or soaring, massive clean vocals. The band's sound is heavy and oppressive, even frightening at times, but also inspiring and powerful, just like the bold new steps of their journey beyond. "We've watched it all decay" ____________________ -Written, produced, and recorded by The Forgotten Falling -Mixed and mastered by Hayden Frasco -Orchestral and choir recording done at Berklee college of music, Boston MA -All instruments tracked at (Los Angeles) California, USA and (Shibuya) Tokyo, Japan Guest solo on track 4 by Lilith Lead vocals, guitars - Hayden Lead guitars, vocals - Miyako Keys, vocals - Yumishi Bass, vocals - Malcolm Drums - Wayne |
